About Rosie

Rosie trained at Oxford for three years in Catering and Hotel Management. Before she came to teaching her wide ranging career took in cooking in a number of restaurants, running her own catering business and writing and editing recipes for publication.

Her teaching career spans more than 20 years, during which she was head of cookery at Redlynch Park College and later senior tutor at Cookery at the Grange. She has been running her own cookery courses from her home, Penny's Mill for almost ten years.

A Wealth of Experience

Because Rosie not only has a wealth of teaching experience, but has also spent many years as a professional cook, she understands what you’ll need to know to excel at cooking for a living in the real world. She has expert knowledge of cooking in the often difficult and cramped conditions of the yachting and skiing industries, and a large number of her students either currently or wish to work in one of these areas.
