I’m Rosie Davies, and I’ve been running hands on, four week, residential cookery courses for people who are passionate about cooking for almost ten years.
My courses combine practically-based teaching of core culinary techniques and methods with tried and tested advice, tips and tricks honed in the course of 25 years of experience as a professional cook and teacher.

Many of my students work or wish to work in the yachting or ski industries, and my course includes specialist advice and tips on cooking in chalets and on boats.

While we spend some of our time talking about the methods and techniques we're working on, you'll spend most of your time cooking - after all, the best way to learn is by doing.

In a Beautiful Setting
I run my courses from my home, Penny’s Mill - an attractive converted watermill that is over 200 years old. It is situated in the quiet, pretty village of Nunney which is set in the rolling Somerset countryside, around half an hour from the Georgian city of Bath.
Accommodation is provided on site as part of your all inclusive course fee, and at the end of a hard days work you'll be able to relax in warmth and comfort, with all the benefits of a real home.
For One All Inclusive Fee
Your comprehensive course fee includes four week's tuition, the Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene, my legendary course file, informal wine tastings, and all meals and accommodation for the duration of the course.
